A beautiful set of Chinese home decor. The first vase, the taller of the three has the double blue rings around the base. A floral design.The second has a chrysanthemum design.The third shows a mountain village.The three together make a beautiful oriental display.Condition: excellent with no chips cracks or repairs.Size: the tallest is 6 1/4 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.The medium is 5 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The smallest 4 inches tall 2 inches in diameter.
Antique Oriental Mud Man Statue Marked Chinese Old Man Figurine Yoke Bearer WONDERFUL original oriental MUD MAN statue collectible. This Yoke Bearer has a very detailed facial expression. He seems smug and confident. Can it be because he has the long life promised by the peach and the wealth promised by the coin? He is glazed in the Sancai tradition of Cerulean Blue, Jade Green and Mustard Yellow. Country of Origin: China Size: 5 inches tall. Circa: 1880/1910. Usual base rubs. Vivid Colors. Excellent antique condition! No chips or repairs. The overall condition is better than what you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. Measures 6 1/8" T. Made of ceramic and stoneware type coarse clay. REMARKABLE workmanship detail throughout. Clay manually pressed into molds from bottom. Pin holes for eyes, nostrils and ears. Hand painted with high gloss crackle finish with areas of no enamel or paint on man's face, chest, hands and toes of shoes. Impressed on bottom "CHINA". Excellent antique condition! This Gorgeous Figurine is 7" Tall and is an original piece of Kutani art purchased in Japan after WWII. With the original Red Kutani mark. The quality and detail is far superior to reproductions produced today. HOTEI is the incarnation of Bodhisattva Maitreya, a Zen priest belonging to China. One of the seven beneficent beings of the Japanese pantheon: represented as a fat, smooth-faced man, with a protruding, naked abdomen, and usually carrying a big hempen bag. He is based on an actual person who looked like a rogue and acted like a beggar and is popularly known as the Laughing Buddha. He is a bald, smiling man with a fat round belly, has bristly whiskers and a narrow forehead. Hotei is said to bring contentment and happiness, popularity and magnanimity. He carries a big hempen bag, which is said to contain a never-ending supply of goods necessary for everyday living. Rubbing his nude belly is said to bring good fortune. He is the God of fortune, guardian of children and the patron of fortune-tellers and bartenders. Chinese porcelain blue and white vase. White with cobalt blue peonies. Mark: Da Qing Qianlong - "Great Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period". Late 20th century. The mark appears to be next to identical to those used in Hong Kong in the 1960-70's, but in underglaze blue. Size: 8-1/2" Tall & 4-3/8" in diameter. Wt. 2 lbs Condition: Very Good with out flaws.

An early 20th Century copy of an elephant incense burner in archaistic Shang dynasty style (c.1766 BC - c.1122 BC), the body with simple taotie & other reliefs, the metal with induced 'antique' patination. A Chinese figure of a Buddhist Guardian Lion .Extremely elaborate winged form covered in a multi-shade green glaze with red wing cases. This is the most elaborate and detailed piece that we have seen in 30 plus years. Weighing a whopping 4 and one half pounds, we think it will be a great addition to your Asian décor. Chinese Ginger Jar Famille Verte Green Qianlong Nian Zhi Red Mark Chinese ginger jar famille verte green original chinese porcelain ginger jar with a beautiful famille verte green color. On the bottom of jar is a Qianlong Nian Zhi Red Mark . The design is called mun shou and has an embossed textured surface. It is approximately 5 1/2 inches tall with the lid and 4 inches wide. There are no scratches, chips or cracks. It is in very nice condition. Please see the included photos.

Mid - 20th C. Chinese Meiping Vase Children Playing Note: Please excuse the reflections in the photographs. These are exquisitely painted fire glazed and look many times better than the photos show. Exquisitely painted Chinese meiping vase, the ovoid body is finely painted with young children playing. It has calligraphy writing on the body, and a Yongzheng reign mark on the base, but of the Republic Period. It is in Excellent condition. It is 11 ½" high. Blanc de Chine figurine of 'Lan Caihe' one of the eight immortals. Lan Caihe, one of the eight immortals in Chinese culture. The figurine is in flowing robes and he/she is carrying a basket of flowers and a castanet in her right hand. Two impressed marks: A seal and a double gourd. Condition: Excellent Lan Caihe is one of the illustrious Eight Immortals (Ba Xian), a group of Daoist/folk deities who play an important role in Chinese religion and culture. While they are famed for espousing and teaching Daoist philosophy and cultivation practices, they are also figures of popular myth and legend that are known for their devotion to the downtrodden and their collective lifestyle of “free and easy wandering.” Though they are most often depicted and described in the context of their group, each has their own particular set of tales, iconography, and areas of patronage.
